Will The Bruins Rake Leafs Tonight?

Bruins came up huge with a win in game 6 vs the Maple Leafs. The biggest difference in game 6 was how physical the Bruins played from top to bottom. In game 5 it looked like the Bruins were trying to set up the perfect goal and passing too much. Game 6 they put shots on net and that was the difference. They put 40 shots on goal compared to 29 in game 5. This is how they will win tonight in game 7. It goes back to the saying “put the puck on net and good things happen.” Andersen has been great in goal for Toronto. Andersen has given up huge reboundv opportunities which the Bruins have been able to capitalize on. It’s time to pull the old Mighty Ducks drill and “clean up the trash!” This means putting a big body in front of the net, like David Backes. Charlie Coyle has also been trying to hold his ground in front of the net but gets knocked around easier.

As good as Anderson has played so has Tuukka Rask. This is probably been the best playoff series of his career. He is been put on an island at some points in this series and came up big. The defense has left Tuukka out to dry on multiple occasions and he has been able to save the majority of chances for Toronto and keep the Bruins alive for game 7.

The last 2 times the Bruins have played Toronto the series has gone 7, with the Bruins winning in the end. For the Bruins to win they need to play physical, put pucks on net, and put in rebounds. The Bergeron line has to show up! If that line is on the top of their game it makes the rest of the team better.
